Last race of the 2017 Cayman Trophy in the beautiful track of Mugello. In qualifying, under the rain, Jonathan was able to do the fastest lap, 2 seconds faster than 2nd position and leader of the championship Riccardo Pera. Mercatali, Jonathan's teammate, will start Race 2 in 2nd position.
In Race 1 , after a good start, they finished in 2nd position behind Riccardo Pera. In Race 2, they ended in 3rd position. Sabino de Castro won Race 2, overtaking Cecotto and Mercatali in the championship.
